PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device for a working machine capable of increasing versatility of an engine ECU. SOLUTION: The engine ECU 1 and an EUC 4 separate from the engine ECU 1 are connected by a communication line 6. A storage means 1a of the engine ECU 1 stores data for setting fuel supply quantity, and a storage means 4a of the separate ECU 4 stores data for setting engine control command having control characteristics corresponding to work characteristics of a working device 3. The separate ECU 4 or the engine EUC 1 operates command engine speed and command engine torque based on the data for setting engine control command. The engine EUC 1 operates target fuel supply quantity of the engine fuel supply device 5 based on the command information and the data for setting fuel supply quantity.
