PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which it is necessary to fix a sheave to a rotating frame by shrink fitting and reduce the risk in a bearing, in a flat-shaped elevator hoisting machine. SOLUTION: It is estimated that inner diameter dimensions of the rotating frame 4 are decreased by fixing the sheave 6 to the rotating frame 4 by shrink fitting, so that the rotating frame 4 formed to have large inner diameter dimensions of the rotating frame 4 in advance so as to keep the inside clearance dimensions of the bearing 31 (so as not to crush the inside clearance of the bearing 31 by pressure from the rotating frame 4) while the rotating frame 4 is fitted with the bearing 31, is applied. Though the sheave 6 is fixed to the rotating frame 4 by shrink fitting, thereby decreasing the inner diameter dimensions of the rotating frame 4, stress to the bearing 31 becomes within an estimated range, so that risk such as seizing and breakage generated by decreasing the inside clearance of the bearing 31 can be reduced.
