The invention relates to the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. The inventive method for producing a biologically active complex exhibiting pronounced neuroregenerative and neuroprotective activity involves defrosting the frozen brain of pig, sheep or cattle embryos having a gestational period from the beginning of the middle third to the middle of the last third of gestation, homogenising said brain in a buffer solution with a pH of 7.2-8.4, filtering the thus obtained homogenate, centrifuging the produced filtrate, filtering a supernatant and submitting it to anion-exchange chromatography, ultrafiltering and desalinating the obtained target fractions and exposed them to sterile filtration.
