<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device wherein superposition in window units is made possible even in a system having a display shared with a plurality of drawing systems. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device 100 acquires image information on an image drawn on each of a plurality of display layers to be synthesized. If a first display layer 71 has a display order lower than that of a second display layer 72, the display device 100 detects a window drawn on the first display layer 71 which should be displayed at the time of synthesizing the first and second display layers 71 and 72 as a specific window 711 on the basis of window arrangement information, and includes an APM 22 which allows the second display layer 72 to generate a transparent window 725 for displaying the specific window 711. If the shape of the specific window 711 is non-rectangular, the APM 22 acquires the shape of the specific window 711 on the basis of the window arrangement information and allows the second display layer 72 to generate the transparent window 725. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
