<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a simple constitution and excellent productivity and capable of preventing any increase in size of the device, and provided with a switch-back mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a roller 61 for switch-back which has a driving roller part 611 and first and second driven roller parts 612, 613 arranged on both sides thereof and feeds paper sheets P from a space between the driving roller part and the first driven roller part, a guide unit 623 provided on the downstream side in the feeding direction of the paper sheets by the roller for switch-back to curve a fore end of the paper sheet to be fed out from the roller for switch-back, and an advance preventive unit 625 for curving a rear side of the paper sheet in a loop shape by preventing the advance of the fore end of the paper sheet. The paper sheet fed from the space between the driving roller part 611 and the first driven roller part 613 is guided and taken in between the driving roller part 611 and the second driven roller part 612 by using the restoration force of the paper sheet curved in a loop shape, and the paper sheet is fed in the direction opposite to the feeding direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
