EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING PIPE IN TUNNEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the transportation of a pipe in a tunnel without bringing both ends of the pipe into contact with a sidewall section of the tunnel, when the pipe for use in the tunnel with a curved section is long enough for both the ends thereof to come into contact with the sidewall section of the tunnel in the curved section of the tunnel. SOLUTION: A transportation equipment for transporting the pipe in the tunnel comprises: a pair of trucks which are arranged at a spacing in the axial direction of the tunnel so as to be each movable in the axial direction of the tunnel; a pedestal which is arranged on each of the trucks so as to support the pipe; and a moving means which is installed on each of the trucks so as to move the pedestal in the transverse direction of the tunnel.
