PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scissors gear reducing rattle noise and suppressing a friction between a main gear and a sub gear. SOLUTION: The scissors gear 1 is provided with: a main gear 10; a sub gear 20 provided coaxially and relatively rotatably with respect to the main gear 10; and a scissors spring for energizing the main gear 10 and the sub gear 20 in circumferential opposing directions. The main gear 10 is provided with: a weight body 15 and a pin 16 movable to the radial direction along with the rotation; and a spring 18 for energizing the weight body 15 and the pin 16 to one side in the radial direction. The sub gear 20 is provided with a guide groove 24 to which the pin 16 is inserted. The guide groove 24 is provided with: a release part exhibiting a backlash removal function by the main gear 10 and sub gear 20; and a constraint part not exhibiting the backlash removal function.
