PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved technology for mounting on the top of a steel pipe pile, a pile punching machine which is suspended by a crane in the state that steel pipe pile about 100 m long, e.g., is erected on a ground, while easily recognizing a position relationship between the pile punching machine and the top of the steel pipe pile even in the nighttime. SOLUTION: (A) and (B) are a conventional example and one example according to this invention, respectively, for the drawings viewed from below the bottom faces of chucks. Four chucks 7 are symmetrically arranged corresponding to the steel pipe pile 8 (a virtual line) to form a space E in a middle among them. The space E is used to provide a lamp 10 as a guide target at a symmetrical center position among the chucks 7 and to provide a pile top illumination light 11 on the side thereof for projecting light toward the top of the steel pipe pile.
