A power conversion device includes: a plurality of reactors (L1, L2, L3) each having one end connected to each phase of an AC power source (1); a converter circuit (4) connected to the other ends of the reactors for converting an AC power to a DC power; a smoothing capacitor (5) connected between DC terminals of the output side of the converter circuit (4); current detection circuits (7, 32) which detect a DC bus current Ish which is a sum of the current flowing in the smoothing capacitor and the load current; a voltage detection circuit which detects the output DC voltage of the converter circuit; and control means (6) which controls the converter circuit by using the current value detected by the current detection circuit and the voltage value detected by the voltage detection circuit. It is judged whether a power source voltage fluctuates according to a fluctuation value of the detected voltage and a fluctuation value of the detected current.
