<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically switch a photo narrow-down sheet for narrowing down an image, or a photo print instruction sheet for selecting an image, for a user to use it naturally. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of image files are classified into one of a plurality of classifications, and the photo narrow-down sheet allowing the selection of the classification by arranging the plurality of classifications and marking by the user is laid out. The photo print instruction sheet allowing the selection of the image file by arranging the plurality of image files and marking by the user is laid out. The sheet to be printed is determined based on a relationship between the number of image files and a threshold value, and the determined photo narrow-down sheet or photo print instruction sheet is printed.
