<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell for uniformly diffusing reaction gas to a membrane electrode assembly, and controlling a water-bearing state. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell consisting of a membrane electrode assembly 2 made by laminating a catalyst layer and a diffusion layer on both sides of an electrolyte membrane, a flow-channel-forming material 3 laminated on either side of the membrane electrode assembly 2, and a separator 4 laminated on the surface of the flow-channel-forming material 3, the flow-channel-forming material 3 laminated on either side of the membrane electrode assembly 2 is made by laminating a plurality of porous bodies 31, 32 in a thickness direction, and impregnated parts 71, 72 are formed at a part of at least one of the porous bodies 32, except the one 31 adjacent to the membrane electrode assembly 2 out of the porous bodies 31, 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
