<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap which includes an upper cover and a cap body, the upper cover being threadedly engaged with the cap body, is hardly deformable by an impact during capping the vessel, keeps high airtightness between the upper cover and the cap body, and can prevent absorption of cooling water poured on the cap. <P>SOLUTION: In the synthetic resin-made cap having the upper cover and the cap body, a helical tube having a thread is formed on the cap body; a thread screwed to the thread is formed on the inner surface of a skirt wall of the upper cover; a circular protrusive thread is formed at the upper end part of the helical tube as a circular seal part; a level difference part is mounted on the skirt wall of the upper cover; a groove to be engaged with the circular protrusive ridge is formed on the inner surface as an annular seal-receiving part; and the absorption of the cooling water is prevented by making both contact each other to increase sealability between the upper cover and the cap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
