<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush capable of brushing the side face part of a tooth facing between teeth. <P>SOLUTION: In at least the distal side area 11a of a brush head 11, a plurality of bristles are discretely positioned at intervals from each other and lined so as to be along the longitudinal direction of the brush head.
