<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device which can efficiently remove an ink solvent from a blanket in such a condition that the permeating ink solvent is accumulated in the blanket as a result of the repetition of printing processing, and a printing method. <P>SOLUTION: The blanket 2 is airtightly covered with a vacuum chamber 6 as a solvent suction/removal means in the printing device 1, in a non-contact state with at least, the outer circumferential surface of the blanket 2 in printing regions 11 and 16. Next, the ink solvent permeating the blanket 2, is sucked and removed from the blanket 2 by increasing the degree of vacuum inside the vacuum chamber 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
