PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the upward projection of a fuel tank when a vehicle body receives an impact load.
SOLUTION: A downwardly projecting protruded part 25 is formed on a rear floor panel 1, and a recessed part 27 into which the protruded part 25 is inserted is formed in the upper surface of the fuel tank 3. A fuel pipe connection part 13 is formed at the top end of a fuel pump 5 disposed in the fuel tank 3. An opening part 21 closed by an opening/closing cover 23 is so formed in the rear floor panel 1 as to correspond to the fuel pipe connection part 13. When the vehicle body receives an impact load from the left side in Fig.3, the fuel pump side floor inclination surface 25b of the protruded part 25 is brought into contact with the fuel pump side tank inclination surface 27b of the recessed part 27, and the fuel tank 3 is moved diagonally downward. In this case, one 49 of tank fixing bands 49, 51 for fixedly suspending the fuel tank 3 from the rear floor panel 1 is positioned at the contact portion, i.e., on the lower surface of the fuel tank 3 located under the protruded part 25 and the recessed part 27.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
|
