PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection switch which identifies a traverse motion of a user's hand or finger in front of a doppler sensor and which drives a load. SOLUTION: The detection switch includes: a doppler sensor 11 for radiating radio beams repeatedly in a plurality of directions in a predetermined switching order and at a switching speed, converting a motion of a detected object into a frequency for each direction of radiation, and outputting detection signals in series; and load-driving means 31 for recognizing, in accordance with the detection signals, a traverse motion of the detected object in front of the doppler sensor 11, and for outputting a driving signal for directly or indirectly driving a load.
