PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam molded article which has excellent shock absorption properties, particularly to provide a foam molded article which is capable of absorbing considerable energy when receiving a high-speed shock, and which has excellent lightweight properties. SOLUTION: The foam molded article is obtained by foam molding of a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin (A) and a resin (B) having a reactive functional group, wherein when, in a tensile test of the thermoplastic resin composition, tensile elastic moduli at tensile velocities V1 and V2 are expressed by E(V1) and E(V2), respectively, E(V1)>E(V2) is satisfied at the time of V1<V2, and foam particles in the foam molded article are present in the thermoplastic resin (A) in a ratio of≥50% to the entire thermoplastic resin composition.
