PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve printing quality by correcting variations in ink drop measure. SOLUTION: A driving voltage generation part 46 can vary the driving voltage of a driving pulse signal. A drop number selection part 45 determines for each nozzle the number of ink drop jets according to data per pixel for the nozzle. A switch selection part 44 selects for each nozzle a driving voltage within the variable range. A driving pulse signal generation part 47 generates driving pulse signals of the selected voltage by the determined number of jets, and applies them to an actuator ACT for an ink chamber with the nozzle formed.
