PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input processor giving less trouble to users in an input operation using a cross key (a cursor movement key) in a Web page having a keyword retrieval function. SOLUTION: This input processor used for input to a device having no pointing device such as a mouse has: a data communication part (step S101) acquiring page data described in a prescribed language; a display part for screen display; a decryption part (step S102) decrypting the page data acquired by the data communication part; a character input part used for inputting a character displayed on the display part; and a display control part controlling the display part based on the input from the character input part and a result of decrypting communication data by the decryption part. The display control part decides that description for displaying a text input field within a display range of the display part is included in the communication data, and controls such that the character is input to the text input field of the display part when the character is input by the character input part (step S104).
