PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for formalin absorption and its using method capable of reducing the amount of formaldehyde evaporated into a working environment when handling formalin liquid during preparation of a pathologic sample or the like. SOLUTION: When preparing a sample for pathologic examination, this sheet 10 for formalin absorption having cloth (high water-absorbing nonwoven fabric 11) including high water-absorbing fibers is used. The absorption sheet 10 is laid beforehand on a cutting board, and a specimen dipped into formalin liquid is taken out therefrom and placed on the absorption sheet 10, and a small slice is cut out from the specimen on the absorption sheet 10. The formalin liquid dripping from the specimen is absorbed immediately by the absorption sheet. A formaldehyde evaporation amount from the absorption sheet absorbing the formalin liquid is smaller than the case of a conventional paper rag or the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
