METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SUB MICRO PARTICLE FORM FLUORESCENT SUBSTANCE

A method for manufacturing sub-micro fluorescent substance particles is provided to homogenize a spherical grain with removing porosity inside particles and aggregation phenomenon, and to improve photoluminescence intensity and filling rate per a unit volume. A method for manufacturing sub-micro fluorescent substance particles comprises the steps of: ball milling and mixing gadolinium acetate hydrate and europium acetate hydrate in methyl alcohol solvent by using a homodisper; adding citric acid or boric acid as an additive solvent in the mixture; putting the mixture in an evaporator and drying the mixture at 50~80 °C; and heat-treating the product of the third step at a temperature of 200~1100 °C by using electric furnace in a highly pure alumina boat in the highly pure oxygen atmosphere.
