Window or door comprises a striking plate that when the window/door is closed is mounted on a window/door frame relative to a groove central axis of a leaf frame so that the central point of a second locking position lies relative to the z-axis on the groove central axis and the central point of a first locking position is arranged relative to the z-axis in an offset manner in the direction of the negative z-axis. The locking bolts (20) on a connecting rod fitting (18) are arranged so that the locking bolt central axis is arranged relative to the groove central axis in an offset manner in the direction of the negative z-axis. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a connecting rod drive for windows or doors.
