A hermetic compressor is provided to reduce production cost by reducing the number of components when a suction pipe and a discharge pipe are assembled and reducing the number of assembling processes. A hermetic compressor comprises a sealed container(1), and a plurality of pipes. In the sealed container, a compressor main body is equipped. A plurality of pipes are coupled on the sealed container. A plurality of pipes are connected to a cooling cycle. A plurality of pipes guide the suction and the discharge of refrigerant. One or more pipes among a plurality of pipes are formed of the same material as the material of the sealed container. In the pipes formed of the same material as the material of the sealed container, a welding projection(21b) for welding on a coupling end is integrally formed.
