A metal capacitor is provided to improve electric conductivity and heat-resistance by using a metal material as an electrolyte. A metal capacitor(10) includes a metal member(11), a metal oxide layer(12), a buried electrode member(13), and an insulating layer(14). The metal member is formed with a foil or plate shape. The metal member is made of one of Al, Nb, Ta, Zr and Ti. A plurality of grooves are formed in one side of the metal member. A plurality of grooves are circular or polygonal grooves. The metal oxide layer is formed in the metal member. The buried electrode member is formed in the metal oxide layer to fill the plurality of grooves. Each of the buried electrode member and the metal member includes a plurality of first outer electrodes or second outer electrodes(22). The insulating layer is formed between the metal oxide layer and the buried electrode member to insulate the metal member and the buried electrode member.
