A mask for conductive ball arrangement and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enable long term use by forming leg parts at an adequate and equal height. A mask for conductive ball arrangement includes a penetration hole(23) for receiving a conductive ball. The conductive ball is arranged at a predetermined position of a base. The mask has a body portion(20) and a leg part forming layer(30). The body portion has a plurality of penetration holes for receiving the conductive balls. The leg part forming layer has openings(32) corresponding to the penetration holes. The leg part forming layer is arranged at a side of the base. The leg part forming layer is made of synthetic resin containing polymer of vinyl acetate as a main component.
