A device and a method for inputting alphabets in a keypad are provided to input various characters by efficiently using a few keys like a phone keypad. Three buttons, which are vowel components of Hangul, are arranged in the keypad. Hangul vowels are inputted by combining the vowel components. 'a' is inputted by pushing a '.' button for starting vowel combination. 'u' is inputted by pushing '.' button twice from start of the vowel combination. |
