APPARATUS PREVENTING FROM CRYSTALLIZING OF ABSORPTION CHILLER AND METHOD THEREOF

An apparatus and a method for preventing from crystallization of an absorption chiller are provided to improve the operation efficiency of the absorption chiller by preventing the crystallization of the solution refrigerant and vapor. An absorption chiller controls a high temperature regenerator, a low temperature regenerator, and an absorber etc through a DDC controller(58). A crystallization prevention apparatus for the absorption chiller includes a solution operation processing unit(5). The solution operation processing unit is composed of a sensor input part(1), a concentration operation part(2), a setting part(3), and control output part(4). The sensor input part measures the temperature and/or pressure of solution and/or refrigerant vapor of the high and low temperature regenerators and the absorber. The concentration operation part computes the concentration of solution through crystallization equation calculation using the temperature and/or pressure from the sensor input part, and determines the crystallization of solution. The setting part selects and sets data items, such as temperature and pressure, and error specification and control concentration or display unit item to data processing. The control output part converts the concentration and crystallization data computed by the concentration operation part into data to be delivered to the DDC controller.
