Plastic profiled semi-rigid barrier (3) for use in horizontal waterproof barrier for cascade connection of two or more levels of horizontal hydro isolation during rehabilitation and preservation works on old civil engineering structures and cultural monuments endangered by capillary moisture. The nature of the invention is seen in constructional solution of a barrier (3) the main task of which, in cases of de-levelling of floors is to connect to each other and in a continued series to couple two or more different levels of horizontal hydro insulation previously achieved by means of the barriers (1) and (2), making a unique, monolith and waterproof dam which permanently prevents moisture to breakthrough and moisten the building structure. Besides being additionally built-in horizontal hydro insulation for the purpose of protection of buildings from moisture, the subject of the invention is characterized in that, that all three additionally built-in barriers (1), (2) and (3), by means of its vertical ribs completely take over vertical loading of upper parts of the building without any deformations, therewith preventing settlement of the building structure, i.e. cracks, and crevices of therefore treated walls.Plastic profiled semi-rigid barrier (3) is extruded and has a horizontal plane " plate (a) and on one side of the plate a female coupling (ŽK) which is rotated by 900 in comparison to the axial direction of the plate body (a). Application describes the built-in procedure of plastic profiled semi-rigid barrier (3) and its of interconnection to barriers (1) and (2) on the building structures on massive walls which are endangered with capillary moisture.
