OPTIMIZATION METHOD OF FREQUENCY SPECTRUM SHARING IN COGNITIVE RADIO SYSTEMS

A frequency spectrum sharing optimization method of a cognitive wireless communication system is provided to enable more than two systems to optimize and share allocated frequency bands, thereby optimizing frequency spectrum. Maximum transmission power usable by a secondary transmitter of a secondary system is set(S210). The secondary transmitter sets maximum interference quantities permissible in a main system with regard to interference generated by each subcarrier transmitted to a main receiver(S220). Optimal power quantities usable by the secondary system are determined by considering the maximum interference quantities and the set maximum transmission power(S230). A maximum interference power condition is applied to maximize channel capacities in the secondary system.
