A wheel speed sensor for a vehicle is provided to sense the speed of a wheel by removing an obstacle between the IC and a tone wheel. A wheel speed sensor of a vehicle is comprised of a sensor body(400), a tone wheel(500), and a sensing unit(600). The sensing unit senses the operation of the tone wheel, and transmits a sensed signal to the ABS [Anti-lock Braking System] controller. The sensing unit comprises a magnet(610) and the IC(640), and the magnet arouses the magnetic field change with the rotation of the tone wheel. The IC converts the magnetic field change into the electric signal and delivers it to the ABS controller. A sensing pad of IC is exposed into the sensor body. |
