A programming method of non-volatile memory device is provided to prevent the overlap of data at the cache latch of the page buffer when the cache program and the intelligent verification are simultaneously performed. A cache program signal is inputted for the first program(S201). If the cache program signal is inputted, the operation mode of the first program verification is determined(S203). In case the first program verification is performed, the first program verification is interrupted(S205). In case the first program verification is not performed, the cache data are immediately inputted to the first latch(S211). The first latch is initialized(S209). If the cache data for the cache program is inputted to the first latch, the first latch is initialized after delivering the data to the third latch(S213). The first program verification is again performed(S215).
