<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet relay device capable of providing comfortable viewing and listening for a user without making the user wait in viewing and listening a content. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises an input unit 11 inputted with a packet, an output unit 12 for outputting the packet to a transmission path, a band control unit 13 for performing a band control relating to the packet, a control unit 14 for registering identification information for identifying the packet to be a target of the band control into a registering table, a flow detecting unit 15 for detecting the packet not to be identified by the identification information registered in the registering table, and a switching unit 16 for switching an output destination of the registered packet to the band control unit 13 or the output unit 12, wherein the control unit 14 is designed to register the identification information at the time of detection into the registering table, and the switching unit 16 is designed to output the registered packet to the output unit 12 until a predetermined time is lapsed from the time point of the detection, while the witching unit 16 is designed to output the registered packet after switching to the band control unit 13 from the output unit 12 when a predetermined time is lapsed from the time point of the detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
