APPARATUS OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION USING ONE IF PATH AND METHOD FOR INTERMEDIATE RADIO FREQUENCY SIGNAL

A mobile repeater using a unified IF(Intermediate Frequency) path and an RF signal relaying method using the same are provided to improve structure of the IF path and miniaturize equipment by unifying independent IF paths. A coupling filter(108) couples an RF(Radio Frequency) signal transmitted to a terminal from a forward base station and a reverse RF signal transmitted to the base station from the terminal by using one path. A first mixer(110) converts the coupled forward and reverse RF signal into a forward and reverse IF signal by mixing frequencies of the signal received from an LO(Local Oscillator). A forward SAW(Surface Acoustic Wave) filter(118) removes the signal of a reverse band from the forward IF signal. A reverse SAW filter removes the signal of a forward band from the reverse IF signal. A second mixer(130) converts the forward and reverse IF signal into the forward and reverse RF signal.
