A sunken ship location verification device is provided to prevent the malfunction in which a display unit is unable to rise over the sea surface by automatically unwinding a string member from a bobbin unit in the ship sinking. A sunken ship location verification device comprises: a base unit(200) combined in one side of a ship; a display unit(100) inserted into the base unit to be separated easily in order to come up to the sea surface in the sinking of the ship; and a string member(L) connecting the base unit and the display unit. The display unit is consisting of: an air tank(130) in order to provide the buoyancy to float on the sea surface; an air tank settling unit forming a space to make the air tank be settled; a bobbin settling unit(150) of cylindrical shape whose having an opened top a bobbin unit in which the string member is reeled, installed within the bobbin settling unit; and a cover member(190) installed to be assembled and disassembled in order to cover the top of the bobbin settling unit.
