A mortise locking device equipped with a latch bolt capable of being inverted in the mounted state is provided to reduce malfunction and prevent the inclined side of the latch bolt from being inverted during the normal operation. A mortise locking device comprises a housing(10) including an exposed body(11) fixed to a door, an embedded body(21) which is positioned within the housing and has a joint part(21A), a movable member(23) moving in and out through an opening of the exposed body, a latch bolt including a protrusion limiting the protruding degree of the movable body, an elastic member(S) which gives an elastic force to expose the movable body, a constraint unit which is joined to the latch bolt in order to prevent inversion of the inclined side of the movable body, a stopper(30) with a protrusion corresponding to the protrusion of the latch bolt, and an unlocking unit(F) including a through hole(11C) connected to the stopper.
