The invention relates to an eccentric screw pump which comprises a stator (2 ) and a rotor (1) rotating therein as well as a drive motor for driving the rotor. The armature (3) of the drive motor is non-rotationally linked with t he rotor and rotates inside a cylindrical pot (5) on an eccentric orbit. The torque for driving the rotor is generated by means of a stator winding (4).< /SDOAB>
