A hot air-type coffee roaster using hot air and far infrared rays is provided to shorten a processing time while improving taste and flavor of coffee by performing a roasting and cooling process at the same time. A hot air-type coffee roaster(100) is composed of a main body(110), a roasting unit(120) and a cooling unit(140). The roasting unit consists of a roasting bezel(122), a hopper, a first blower(132), a first transfer tube and a heater(136). The cooling unit consists of a cooling bezel(142), a second blower(152), a second transfer tube, a connection tube(162) and a first solenoid valve(172). A second solenoid valve(174) is positioned on a discharge pipe which is located in the lower part of the cooling bezel. The roasting bezel and the cooling bezel are made of transparent materials. The roasting bezel includes a material which emits far infrared rays.
