A multi-interface IC card is provided to make communication with hosts having various protocol types possible. The first interface(121) communicates with a host through the first protocol. The second interface(123) communicates with the host through the second protocol. A controller(110) detects the level of a driving voltage inputted from host, compares the detected driving voltage with a reference voltage, and then enables one of the first and second interfaces according to the compared result.
