OPTICAL PICKUP BASE ASSEMBLY OF DISK DRIVE

摘要

An optical pick-up base assembly of a disk drive is provided to maintain the planarity of a spindle motor accurately by fixing a motor plate on an optical pick-up base through a supporting pipe of metal material having low tolerance. An optical pick-up base assembly of a disk drive comprises: an optical pick-up base(30) in which an optical pick-up is installed to be moved; a motor plate(50) which is installed at one end of the optical pick-up base and in which a spindle motor providing the driving force rotating the disc is installed; a coupling boss(52) being protruded at the optical pick-up base corresponding to the motor plate and guiding the installation position of the motor plate; and a supporting pipe(54) being inserted into the coupling boss and having both ends supported at the optical pick-up base and the motor plate.
