<p>A portable terminal and a control method thereof are provided to perform an operation, which is set by relating to a geographic location. A user selects a menu item of a portable terminal(S200). The user enters a geographic setting menu and sets a geographic location related to the menu item(S210). An operation to be executed by relating to the menu item is set by linking with entry of the geographic location(S215). When the portable terminal is entered in the set geographic location, a first operation set in the menu item is executed. When the portable terminal is out o the set geographic location, a second operation set in the menu item is executed.</p> |
