POUCHED TYPE BATTERY

摘要

A pouch type battery is provided to prevent the degradation of battery performance by minimizing moisture permeation path and to improve durability of the battery by folding the lower hem of the pouch. A pouch type battery comprises an electrode assembly(10) and a pouch case(20) surrounding and sealing the electrode assembly. The pouch case is made of one pouch sheet and has a protrusion part(21) formed by folding the lower hem of the pouch which is the opposite side of the electrode lead(11) in an opposite direction of the electrode. In the protrusion part, the middle or the edge of the lower hem of the pouch case is formed in order to be protruded in opposite direction of the electrode.
