POUCHED-TYPE BATTERY

A pouch-type battery is provided to secure safety and to prevent the degeneration of battery performance caused by moisture by using an anti-wetting agent as a vent chip. A pouch-type battery comprises a pouch type case(20) having a vent chip(21) in the inside of at least one side; and an electrode assembly(10) positioned inside the pouch type case. The vent chip is an anti-wetting agent. The vent chip is positioned nearby the tap of the pouch type battery. An electrode assembly comprises a positive electrode applied with a positive active material; a negative electrode applied with a negative active material; and a separator positioned between the positive electrode and the negative electrode.
