A display device is provided to minimize damage in a display panel by forming an air layer in a bezel when the display panel is dropped. A display device includes a display panel(20), a bezel(30), and an air layer(50). The bezel receives the display panel. The bezel is comprised of one selected from the group of SUS(Stainless Using Steel), SPCC(Steel Plate Cold Commercial), aluminum, and nickel-silver alloy. The bezel includes a bottom part and a skirt part. The skirt part is protruded from the edge of the bottom part. The upper part of the skirt part is positioned to be higher than the surface of the display panel. The distance between the upper part of the skirt part and the surface of the display panel is 0.1mm to 0.3mm. The air layer is formed in the upper side of the display panel in order to reinforce the mechanical strength of the display panel. |
