<p>A method for performing random access based on competition is provided to reduce delay time until an uplink channel is allocated. A random access preamble is transmitted to a base station(S310). The random access response including timing offset information is received from the base station by responding to the random access preamble(S320). Priority of the random access competition is determined by using the time offset information and intensity of a signal received from the base station(S330). A result message is transmitted to the base station depending on a determination result(S340).</p> |
