A polyimide metal foil laminate is provided to prevent exfoliation of a metal layer and a polyimide resin layer, and to improve adhesiveness or bonding property of the metal layer and the polyimide resin layer with 1,1' - (2,2'-dialkyl-1,1'-biphenyl -4,4'-diyl) bismaleimide. A polyimide metal foil laminate includes one or more polyimide layer manufactured with 1,1' - (2,2'-dialkyl-1,1'-biphenyl -4,4'-diyl) bismaleimide. The polyimide layer contains 1,1' - (2,2'-dialkyl-1,1'-biphenyl -4,4'-diyl) bismaleimide 0.1~40 weight% based on solid powder of a polyamic acid composition. An amic acid composition is coated on a metallic film.
