METHOD FOR DISPERSING A SEARCH OF RADIO FREQUENCY CHANNEL IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND TERMINAL UNIT

A method for distributively searching an RF(Radio Frequency) channel and a terminal performing the same are provided to secure operation stability of a network operating more than one frequency by distributively operating terminals with each RF channel. A storage unit(140) stores preferred frequency group and search control information. The preferred frequency group is formed based on more than one RF channel assigned by each provider. The search control information is used for distributively search the RF channels included in the preferred frequency group. A frequency channel searcher(160) selects the RF channel for a terminal by sequentially searching the RF channels included in the preferred frequency group from the selected RF channel based on ID information of the terminal.
