An interpolation filter, a multi codec decoder using the same and a decoding method thereof are provided to enable an interpolating filter to commonly use a hardware part between various CODECs(Coders Decoders), thereby reducing chip size and costs. An entropy decoder(30) receives a compressed and coded signal and entropy-decodes it. An inverse transforming unit(50) inversely transforms a decoded bit stream to extract difference value information. An intra picture predictor(60) performs intra prediction about the decoded bit stream. A loop deblocking filter unit performs deblocking about a restoration signal. The restoration signal is generated by adding the difference value information to the intra prediction or motion compensated signals. |
