A portable terminal is provided to make a user understand information for a rotation direction or speed of a wheel key by outputting a color, which is different from each rotation direction or speed, to the transparent wheel key. A transparent electrode is coated on a wheel key unit. A rotating unit(110) rotates the wheel key unit. A switch unit(200) detects a rotation direction or speed of the wheel key unit in a lower part of the wheel key unit. A controller changes a color of the switch unit according to the detected rotation direction or speed. |
