A driving method for a plasma display panel and a plasma display apparatus are provided to recognize a caption by changing the gray scale of the caption on the screen. In a driving method for a plasma display panel and a plasma display apparatus, an image of the first frame is displayed on a first area(710) of a plasma display panel. The caption of the first gray scale is displayed on the second part(720) which is a part of the first area. The image of the other second frame and the first frame is displayed on the first area, and the caption of the other second gradation and the first gradation is displayed on the second area. |
