<p>A portable terminal and a control method thereof are provided to apply various effects to inputted characters by using a touch screen and mix the characters with a captured image. A preview screen is displayed when an imaging mode is set(S320). Text data is received and displayed in a predetermined area of the preview screen(S340). If imaging is started, the text data is mixed with a captured image and the mixed image is stored. If the text data displayed on the preview screen is touched and dragged, a location of the text data is changed and displayed(S380).</p> |
